There is a new interim pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. Please come and join the Deacons and members of Calvary Baptist, located at 1200 West Columbia in Okemah, this Sunday as they welcome the Rev. Dr. Joseph Hebert.
The Hebert family moved from Dallas almost three years ago to take up residence in Mason. Since then Dr. and Mrs. Hebert, their sons Samuel and Matthew, and Joseph's mother Marie have been members of Last Chance Baptist Church. It was there, at Last Chance Baptist, that Dr. Hebert was licensed to the ministry after several years of itinerant preaching.
Dr. Hebert is excited about taking the post at Calvary. He, the Deacons and members are looking forward to welcoming back past members, and also to meeting neighbors and other friends from the community. They all hope to see you there.
